WHY CHOOSE

COLORADO PAINTING & CONSTRUCTION PROS?

More than 30 years of experience

Our painting and construction company has been family-owned since 1987, operating with 30+ years of industry experience.  What began as a cottage operation in the Midwest, building the business through one residential job at a time by the power of word of mouth; has grown over the years into a multi-dimensional full service painting and remodeling business for large commercial properties as well as residential needs.  With the desire to bring greater educational opportunities to our children, and with our love for the great outdoors, our family chose to relocate and settle in the beautiful state of Colorado. During our twelve years in Colorado, we have been developing relationships and building trust with homeowners and contractors. While our original home base may have changed, our formula for establishing satisfied customers remains the same.  Provide a worry-free painting or remodeling experience by utilizing quality products and workmanship from skilled professionals, at a competitive price while maintaining the highest level of integrity that many loyal customers before you have experienced.

WHAT IS A

COLORADO PAINTING & CONSTRUCTION PROS JOB?

"A Colorado Painting & Construction Pros. paint job, construction job, handyman job, or small remodel job is not just about having a crew working at a house during the week. It starts weeks in advance, working with you to make sure you have just the right shade of color, have quality materials, and are comfortable with how all of the colors and finishes will look on or in the house; it's having someone available to show you the daily progress and keep you up-to-date on the status; and not leaving the job until everything is done just right.  In short, a Colorado Painting & Construction Pros job is a system of excellent customer service that also gets a house properly completed.

Power Washing for Painting

A few days before we are ready to start the prep work phase at your house, we use a high pressure power washer to clean your house. In addition to cleaning off cobwebs, bird droppings and anything else that has accumulated on your house, the high pressure from the power washer is enough to expose areas of weak and loose paint. This helps us remove all of the failing paint that may not be obvious from the ground.

Prep Work for Painting

Nothing is more important to the outcome of a paint job than the work that is done to prepare the surface for the new paint. Even the best possible paint will quickly fail on a surface that is not properly prepared. Colorado Painting & Remodeling Pros understands this and that is why we take an aggressive approach to the prep work. Whether we are scrapping, sanding, caulking, or priming, we make sure all of the prep work is meticulously done; and we don't just repair the surface, we use tactics that provide preventative maintenance on your home to ensure maximum longevity of the paint job. We don't stop there, we'll show you the progress on the prep work each day so you never wonder what was done or worry about what wasn't; you'll see that everything was done right so you can rest comfortably knowing the paint job will last.

Paint Application

Whether working inside or out, before we begin to apply paint, we take special precautions to protect everything that is not to be painted. This includes moving furniture, removing or masking items attached to the house (depending on the item) and masking windows, bricks, and anything else that should not be painted. We are sure to use drop clothes, which prevents paint on your stones, concrete and landscaping, as well as your carpet and hardwood floors if we're working indoors.

Exterior
- we generally use a sprayer to apply paint on the body and doors of the house, then trim the house using brushes and/or small rollers. (Other options are available upon request or if made necessary by the situation.)

Interior - we generally will roll the main sections and “cut in" the edges with brushes and/or edging tools, while trim is painted with brushes and/or small rollers. We have several techniques to ensure sharp lines anywhere there is a color change and next to unpainted surfaces, and that no paint sneaks behind taped edges. (Other options are available upon request or if made necessary by the situation.)

Daily "Communication"

Our biggest concern while completing any project is your satisfaction. We feel you should not have to worry about the paint job, that's why you've hired us, to worry for you. Because of this, we offer daily communication. We have a manager or crew member walk you through what we have done during the day, and prepare you for what to expect the next day. Whether we're pointing out the specific prep or asking color questions for an accent area, you can rest sure that everything is getting done right. Usually walk-a-rounds are done at the end of the day when the crew is about to leave, but we like for them to be done at a convenient time for you. The few minutes we spend with you during this time should help keep you up-to-date on the progress so you know that we are following the procedures we promised at the estimate. It also allows for easy communication for any questions you have.

Daily Clean-Up

Because we understand that our jobsite is your home, our process is intended to

keep our jobsites clean throughout the day; however, the nature of our work causes us to have to clean up at the end of the day. Therefore, we spend the last part of each day cleaning up after ourselves. This includes removing masking from the house, cleaning up trash, putting all of our tools/supplies neatly tucked away in the comer of the yard and restoring the house to how it was when we started. We want you to experience as little disruption and discomfort to your daily life as possible while we are working on your house.

Final Inspection

Our job is never finished until our customers are 100% satisfied. To ensure this, we ask each customer to tour or walk the house with us once we feel the house is ready. We know that we are not perfect and may miss a few minor touch-ups. Furthermore, each customer will have a few specific requests that are different from other customers. By doing a final inspection, we are able to make sure that everything is 100% done and that you are completely satisfied with the work performed.
