Super Service Award 2025Interior painting is more than changing the colour of your walls — it's a detailed, protective and precision-driven process. Our work includes careful preparation of walls, ceilings, trim and woodwork, professional masking and protection, expert application and thorough clean-up each day. Family-owned since 1987 with 30+ years of industry experience, we grew one residential project at a time through word of mouth into a full-service painting and remodeling company serving both commercial properties and residential homes across Northern Colorado.
Interior painting becomes necessary when walls show scuffs, fading, cracks, water stains, smoke stains or general wear. Peeling paint, damaged drywall, outdated colours or stains bleeding through are all signs it's time. Life happens inside a home — furniture rubs walls, kids mark surfaces and moisture leaves discolouration. Professional work not only improves appearance but protects surfaces from further deterioration. We provide FREE colour samples applied directly to your walls so you can see how a colour reads next to tile, wood floors and stone in different lighting.
A high-quality interior project requires meticulous preparation, premium materials and skilled craftsmanship. We use trusted brands such as Behr, Valspar, Benjamin Moore, Glidden, Sherwin Williams and Kwal. Furniture, floors and carpets are protected with drop cloths or poly plastic; furniture is carefully moved and replaced; outlet plates are removed and reinstalled; trim is masked and sealed with caulking for sharp lines without bleed-through. Surfaces are washed, cracks and holes repaired with spackle or drywall compound, sanded smooth, primed and textured where necessary. Every project ends with a final walkthrough.
Fort Collins sits at roughly 5,000 feet with some of the driest indoor air in the country, especially once the furnace runs from October through April. That dryness shrinks wood trim, opens hairline cracks at drywall seams and corners, and makes cheap paint dry too fast, leaving lap marks and uneven sheen. We fill and sand those seasonal cracks before priming, use paints formulated for slower open time, and recommend washable matte or eggshell finishes that hold up to dust, pets and busy kitchens. Many Fort Collins homes also carry decades of history: plaster walls in Old Town bungalows, popcorn ceilings and oak trim in 1970s and 1980s ranches, and builder-grade flat paint in newer south Fort Collins subdivisions. Each needs a different prep plan, from bonding primers over glossy oil-based trim to stain-blocking primers over water marks and smoke. Because Colorado sunshine pours through big west- and south-facing windows, we help you test colour samples on your own walls so you can see how a shade shifts from cool morning light to warm evening glow before you commit. We work room by room so your household keeps running, and every day ends with furniture back in place and floors clean.
