When is staining necessary?
Staining becomes necessary when wood fades, greys, cracks, splinters or absorbs water instead of repelling it. If your deck looks weathered, your fence shows sun damage or water no longer beads on the surface, it's time to consider refinishing or sealing. Colorado's dry climate and intense UV exposure break down unprotected wood quickly, and professional staining helps prevent rot, warping and costly replacements. We provide FREE colour samples on the surface so you can see how the stain looks in natural light, with daily communication and clean-up throughout.
What is required for staining?
A successful staining project requires proper cleaning, preparation, quality materials and experienced craftsmanship. Surfaces are thoroughly cleaned to remove dirt, mildew and previously failing coatings, loose fibres are sanded and damaged boards addressed when necessary. We use top-of-the-line products from Behr, Valspar, Benjamin Moore, Glidden, Sherwin Williams and Kwal. Fully insured and an A-rated BBB member, our job is never finished until you're 100% satisfied — every project concludes with a final walkthrough for review and touch-ups.
